Is there a dress code for this event?

As Arizona Matsuri is a family oriented event held at Phoenix's Steele Indian School Park, we kindly ask that all attendees dress appropriately as there will be many children in attendance. Attendees who are dressed inappropriately will be asked to modify their wardrobe or be asked to leave the event. Please read the  Dress Code Rules and Regulations here.

I will be attending the event wearing an Anime outfit which includes a prop. Is this acceptable?

Due to high attendance and congestion throughout the Festival grounds, we have a "No Prop and Weapon" Policy. This includes plastic swords, knives, or other weapons or props including those used for Cosplay. If a festival volunteer observes any attendee carrying such a prop, they will be asked to take the prop off the festival grounds immediately. Please read the Dress Code Rules and Regulations here.

Will there be a place where I can change into my COSPLAY costume?

No, there will not be specific areas for changing clothese other than public restrooms.

Do the vendors accept credit cards?

Not all vendors will accept credit cards so please use cash.  There will be ATM machines available on the festival grounds for your convenience.

Can we bring our own food and drinks into the Festival?

No, we will only allow plastic water bottles for individual consumption.

I would like to volunteer for this event, who should I contact?
