Special Handicap Parking: Specially-marked parking spaces are available in the Heritage Square Garage, located at 5th Street and Monroe, for vehicles displaying disabled plates or placards. This garage is connected directly to Heritage Park. The sidewalk on 7th Street from the east garage is ADA accessible. There is also an elevator for the skywalk bridge across Washington from the East Garage.

Where is the First-Aid, Medical Tent?
The First-Aid station tent is located on East Monroe near 7th Street. First-Aid staff will be patrolling the festival. In case of emergency dial 911. Arizona Matsuri staff and volunteers can guide you to the First-Aid tent in case of minor issues.
Pay parking garages are located at the Plaza East Garage on the south side of the park on 7th St. & Washington (SW corner) and the Heritage Garage located at 5th St. & Monroe on the west side of the park. Limited metered street parking is nearby.
Bus routes 1, 3 and 7 all stop just around the corner at 7th St & Van Buren. Light Rail stops within walking distance at 3rd St & Washington (north/west bound) and 3rd St & Jefferson (south/east bound) as well as at the Central Station on Central/1st Ave & Van Buren.
Is there a dress code for this event?
As Arizona Matsuri is a family oriented event held in downtown Phoenix's Heritage & Science Park, we kindly ask that all attendees dress appropriately as there will be many children in attendance. Attendees who are dressed inappropriately will be asked to modify their wardrobe or be asked to leave the event. Please read the 2018 Dress Code Rules and Regulationshere.
I will be attending the event wearing an Anime outfit which includes a prop. Is this acceptable?
Due to high attendance and congestion throughout the Festival grounds, we have a "No Prop and Weapon" Policy. This includes plastic swords, knives, or other weapons or props including those used for Cosplay.If a festival volunteer observes any attendee carrying such a prop, they will be asked to take the prop off the festival grounds immediately. Please read the Dress Code Rules and Regulationshere.
Will there be a place where I can change into my COSPLAY costume?
No, there will not be specific areas for changing clothese other than public restrooms.
Do the vendors accept credit cards?
Not all vendors will accept credit cards so please use cash. There will be ATM machines available on the festival grounds for your convenience.
Can we bring our own food and drinks into the Festival?
No, we will only allow plastic water bottles for individual consumption.
