Entertainment & Performance
Matsuri 2020 will showcase traditional and modern Japanese culture on stages located throughout Steele Indian School Park.
What to expect in 2020?
We will begin both Saturday and Sunday with an Event Opening Parade that will feature dancers from across the State. Please see the details here to learn about this must see event. Contact Ken Koshio regarding how to get involved and participate in the practice events that are held days and weeks before the main event.
In 2020 we will have several interesting performers from all our stages which will showcase various Musicians, Artists, Martial Arts, Story Tellers and Dancers showing off their talents on stage. There will also be an exciting Ninja theatrical dance performance. This year will be just as impressive as last if not more!
Due to high attendance and congestion throughout the Festival grounds, we have a No Prop and Weapon" Policy. This includes plastic swords, knives, or other weapons or props including those used for Cosplay/Anime. Please refer to the Costume Rules and Regulations and FAQ page for further details.
